‘Dullsville and the Doodleverse’ premieres at TIFF 🎬
Doodles has premiered its animated special ‘Dullsville and The Doodleverse’ at the Toronto International Film Festival.
Taking place at the Toronto Stock Exchange, notable in attendance included Pharrell Williams and Coi Leray - who both worked on the animated short.
The 20-minute animated film attracted worldwide media attention, and featured original music from artists such as Lil Wayne, Lil Yachty, and Swae Lee.
Ubisoft’s The Watch enters public alpha 🕹️
Ubisoft-backed competitive RTS The Watch has begun its public alpha, available to download for free via the Epic Games Store.
The game merges RTS and MOBA gameplay, creating a uniquely engaging PVP title - and an Alpha Championship will soon debut, offering players the chance to win a $1,000 USD prize.
The current iteration of The Watch doesn’t include any blockchain features, but future updates will introduce a series of units, powers and cosmetics that can be minted as NFTs.
XCOPY’s ‘Bad Flavour’ sells for $665,000 👀
Revered NFT artist XCOPY has seen one of his pieces, titled Bad Flavour, sell for 280 ETH – approximately $665,000 USD.
The piece was purchased by @punk4945, an anonymous individual that is a notable collector of XCOPY’s works, having collected 25 of his pieces to date.
This has sparked discussions about a possible revival in NFT prices - although XCOPY’s pieces specifically are finding high prices in recent weeks, with his Damage Control series seeing particular success.
