DeGods has unveiled a unique burn and swap mechanic for collectors to acquire their brand-new token, $DEGOD.

Holders of any asset in the DeGods ecosystem can now burn or swap their assets for the new token. DeGods NFTs can be swapped for 550,000 $DEGOD, y00ts NFTs can be burned for 120,000 $DEGOD, and 1 $DUST can be burned for 36 $DEGOD.

Reactions have been mixed, and it is unknown what long-term effects this could have on the DeGods ecosystem at large.

Phantom introduce wallet usernames πŸ’¬

Popular software wallet Phantom has introduced Usernames, allowing you to connect your wallet name with a moniker – akin to services such as Unstoppable Domains.

These usernames become your Phantom identity, and allow you to recognise and send crypto to other Phantom users with ease, as well as sync your accounts across your devices.

The system is 100% opt-in, and is being rolled out in phases, based on when you joined Phantom.
