Metaverse Expo Tokyo to return November 20-22 🏙️

Off The Grid hits Early Access on all platforms 🟢
Web3 battle royale title Off The Grid has entered Early Access, with players able to play the game on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Developed by Gunzilla Games - and built on their Avalanche subnet - players fight in an explosive title that combines extraction shooter and battle royale gameplay, with $GUN tokens and NFT-based items to feature in the full release.
Several major streamers broadcasted the Early Access to their audiences, including Scump, TimTheTatman and Ninja - with the latter partnering with the game for an official character skin, based on his likeness.
SonicX expands tap-to-earn to TikTok 📲
Web3 development firm Sonic SVM has revealed SonicX, a Solana-based tap-to-earn game that is fully playable from within the TikTok app.
By shifting tap-to-earn games from Telegram onto another massively-popular social media platform in TikTok, Sonic are hoping that this innovation will give them a leading position in this exciting new area.
After lacklustre airdrops from hyped-up titles such as Hamster Kombat and Catizen, community sentiment had begun to decline for the tap-to-earn genre - but since its launch, SonicX has already acquired over 100,000 players – and is growing quickly.
Metaverse Expo Tokyo to return November 20-22 🏙️
Japan’s largest AR, MR and VR trade show Metaverse Expo Tokyo is set to take place from November 20 to November 22.
Held at the Makuhari Messe, this biannual event will see industry experts and the curious public explore the latest developments in immersive and extended reality technologies, as well as the latest metaverse tech.
Visitor registration is now open, as well as exhibitor applications for the November 2024 and July 2025 editions of the event.
