ApeChain makes its long-awaited debut 🟢
ApeFest 2024 - the annual gathering of Bored Ape Yacht Club holders, held in Lisbon this week - saw the debut of ApeChain, a new Ethereum Layer-2 network.
Numerous apps have already grabbed attention on ApeChain. Examples include Top Trader, a trading simulation game, and Ape Express, a token creation platform similar to pump.fun on Solana.
The price of ApeCoin has more than doubled since the launch of ApeChain, with all eyes on how both Yuga Labs and the ApeCoin DAO will continue this momentum.
Faraway reveals gaming-focused FChain 🕹️
Faraway - the go-to game studio for Yuga Labs - has announced the introduction of FChain, a new gaming-focused Layer-1 blockchain built on Avalanche.
This blockchain is set to support Faraway’s growing blockchain gaming ecosystem including Yuga-associated titles such as Serum City and Dookey Dash: Unclogged, and standalone titles such as Shatterline.
Unlike L2 or L3 blockchains, which rely on underlying systems, FChain operates independently, giving Faraway more control over functions such as staking economics and transactions costs - both vital in web3 game development.
Mojito to guide big brands to web3 ⭐
Following a major rebrand, web3 technology company Mojito is refocusing its efforts to introduce major brands to the blockchain space.
Having worked with companies such as Sotheby’s Mercedes-Benz NXT and the Toledo Museum of Art, Mojito is now looking to expand its services further in order to bridge the gap between big brands and the web3 ecosystem.
Mojito Studio will pursue consulting services and development work, Mojito Platform will serve as a launchpad and asset management service, and the Mojito Product Lab will focus on research and development for next-gen blockchain products.
